Pet transport timelines are customized based on airline schedules and regulatory requirements, usually 5 to 14 days including documentation preparation.

Pets travel in IATA-compliant airline crates aboard commercial flights with airlines like Lufthansa, KLM, and Emirates. We handle all veterinary documentation, health certificates, import permits, and airline coordination. Your pet is monitored at every stage from pickup to delivery at the destination.

For pet transport to the USA, you need a valid EU pet passport, rabies vaccination certificate (administered at least 21 days before travel), a veterinary health certificate issued within 10 days of departure, and a USDA-endorsed import permit. For parcels and documents, standard customs documentation is required which we prepare on your behalf.

We hold your booking for 24 hours after invoice generation. If payment is not received within this window, the booking slot may be released. For bank transfers, please allow 1 to 2 business days for processing. Cryptocurrency payments are confirmed after the required number of blockchain confirmations. Contact support if you need an extension.

Customs delays can occur due to documentation reviews or inspections. NextDay Drop prepares all customs paperwork to minimize delays. If your shipment is held, our customs team will work directly with authorities to resolve it. You will be notified in real time through your tracking dashboard. Additional customs fees, if any, are the responsibility of the shipper or receiver.

Insurance is not mandatory but is strongly recommended. We offer three tiers: Basic (included free, covers up to €500), Standard (covers up to €5,000), and Premium (full declared value coverage). For pet transport, we recommend Premium coverage for complete peace of mind.

You can select a crate during the booking process. We offer IATA-compliant crates in multiple sizes based on your pet's breed and weight. Crate rental is included in the transport fee. If you already own an IATA-approved crate, you can use it instead — just confirm the specifications with our team during booking.

VAT is applied at the standard German rate of 19% for all services originating from Germany. For EU business customers with a valid VAT ID, the reverse charge mechanism applies. Non-EU shipments are generally zero-rated for VAT purposes. All invoices include a detailed VAT breakdown.

You can track your shipment using the tracking number provided in your confirmation email. Enter it on our Tracking page or in your client dashboard. Updates include pickup confirmation, in-transit milestones, customs clearance, and final delivery. Email notifications are sent automatically at each major status change.
